Spring Wishlist + One Lovely Blog Award

I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve seriously been getting the shopping bug recently. All my favorite stores are dropping new spring stuff and UGH I’m just fighting the urge to get rid of everything I have and just buy a new wardrobe. Obviously, I won’t be doing that, but I would be lying to myself if I said that I wasn’t going to buy ANY new clothes this season. I mean, that’s just completely unrealistic.

Until the time comes for me to pick up some new things, I thought a bit of online window shopping would suffice even if it doesn’t feel quite as good as actually shopping. I already put together a mini wishlist of what I was eyeing this month in my March Moodboard post,  but I thought it would be fun to share what I’m really really looking to snag myself for spring.

So come along with me, let’s look at some pretty things.

MOTO Colour Block Skirt – TOYSHOP ($60)

I’m in love with this patchwork denim pencil skirt. I’ve been needing a new denim skirt for a while, because the one I had spawned a hole right at the corner of the back pocket (a.k.a. prime underwear/butt cheek zone), and I swear I heard this skirt say it wanted to come home with me. The only downside to this skirt is that it’s $6o so I either need to a.) find something similar at another store for cheaper b.) somehow talk myself into buying this or c.) be blesses by a really good sale. I’m hoping for c.

Double Tassel Drop Earrings – FOREVER 21 ($6)

I’m really into the idea of tassels for this spring and one of my favorite ways to wear them is definitely on your ears. I’ve been kind of getting into colorful jewelry recently, which is kind of shocking for me, a girl who 3/4 of the things she owns are black, grey, white, and neutral metals. But I’ve been thinking about incorporating color a lot more recently, something that my dad will probably be really happy about, and I might just start with these earrings. I’m also really wanting to wear these deep orange earrings with a light/powder blue shirt because that’s one of my FAVORITE color combinations.

k/lab Side-Snap Trouser Pants – KOHL’S ($58)

Hi, my name is Chirsty, and I’m a recovering Kohl’s hater. I have NEVER been a big fan of Kohl’s for anything other than the odd super cheap thing that I find in the clearance section while I’m there with my mom or my friends. But recently they started carrying this brand called k/lab and it’s SO GOOD. I already have like four or five items from them and that’s more than I’ve bough from Kohl’s probably in the last six years. ANYWAY, although they’re on my wishlist, I’m not quite sure if I really like the pants or just the idea of them. I guess I would have to try them on to 100% make a decision. But they are giving my the Fenty x Puma feel without the Fenty x Puma price tag, and I really am here for that. That being said, I kinda wish they were sweatpants (words I never thought would come out of my mouth). But idk, I’m inconclusive. What do you guys think?

Faux Fur Striped Rainbow Clutch – FOREVER 21 ($10)

Before you say anything, I know. This clutch is kind of ridiculous but that’s kind of why I love it. I mean, does anyone really need a rainbow fur clutch? Probably not. Do I want a rainbow fur clutch. Absolutely! I saw this in person the other day and it’s just as magical as it is online. And it’s only $10 so there’s really no reason that I should deny myself the happiness this purse would bring me

Maya Chunky Cleated Flatforms – PUBLIC DESIRE ($60)

ANYWAY, we already know how I feel about silver shoes, and my silver shoe obsession certainly has not subsided. I have already bought another pair and am still really really wanting these. They’re just perfect. The cork and white cleated sole is just 😍

Shay Ruffle Tiered Shirt Dress – BOOHOO ($25)

Shirt dresses will always be my favorite kind of dress because they’re so comfortable and they’re really easy to dress up and down. And this dress combines my love of shirt dresses with my love of structured white statement sleeves. Basically this dress was made for me. White is always a staple color for spring and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Also, can we just take a moment to envision how amazing this dress would be with the Maya flatforms? UGH, I’m drooling. Truly a match made in fashion heaven. . .and I want fashion God to bestow upon me his fashion blessings.

Phew, that was fun and disheartening at the same time (obviously only disheartening because I don’t have any of these things but want them all). But enough about me, I wanna know what’s on your spring wishlist (seriously lmk in the comments because I’m legit interested, I’m not just saying this cause it’s the blogger thing to do).

SEVEN FACTS ABOUT ME

1. When I was little, my favorite songs were No Scrubs by: TLC and Say My Name by: Destiny’s Child. I truly have not been about the bullshit since I was a baby.
2. I am addicted to french fries and chicken wings. Seriously, I could eat both every single day and not get tired.
3. I’ve seen Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging so many times I can recite dialogue while I watch the movie.
4. Half of my brain consists solely of things relating to drag queens. If that speaks to you, hmu, we can chat.
5. (almost) Every second of my day I am wishing that I was at Disney World.
6. Two of my all time favorite movies in the world are The Wizard of Oz and Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, and if you don’t like one of those movies I. . .I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed.
7. If I could dress like Cher from Clueless or Alexia from Wish Upon A Star every day, I would be a happy girl.
